Frequently Asked Questions
Q. A male boudoir photographer?
A. There are actually quite a few benefits to having a male boudoir photographer. My style of boudoir is it should be sexy, but not sexual.
Q. The women on your website all look like models. I am not "modelesque"...can I do this??
A. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard this comment… My answer is always the same, “Of course you can!” I’m always flattered when I get this comment because that means I’m doing my job right. Almost everyone on my website are not professional models. Well, except for 3.. bet you can’t spot them blending in so well with everyone else.
Q. How far in advance should I book my session?
A. You should book at least 2 weeks in advance. This gives us time to plan the perfect location for your shoot. I prefer to shoot in various AirBnB’s as opposed to the same studio for every shoot. For me it keeps every shoot fresh and keeps me from getting lazy AND if I’m excited about it that guarantees your photos will look EVEN better.
Q. What do your packages include? How much should I expect to spend?
A. My boudoir experience starts at $800. This includes the photoshoot with Zach Damberger, professional makeup, AirBnB expenses, retouching of your images, and the in-person image viewing.
In addition this includes an Artifact Uprising layflat album of 15 of your favorite images and those 15 images in web resolution for personal or social media use.
Additional wall art, upgraded albums, and digital files will be available a-la-carte at the time of your in-person image viewing. Typically clients end up spending around $1200 on average on the session and products.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org (need to get website email) to get a full list of our shoot and product offerings we have available.
Q. What is the selection process for the images from my shoot? Will any of these be on the Internet?
A. We offer in-person photo reveals included with all our boudoir packages a few weeks after your photo session. We do this to help you decide which images you want and to provide guidance in choosing the perfect album and wall art pieces.
We also offer in-person reveals for your image security. While doing online proofing galleries is standard these days, boudoir photography is a bit more sensitive. We don’t want to store your photos anywhere online to prevent them from being exploited by anyone. Your privacy is our top concern and in-person reveals take care of this!
The reveal sessions take place at my in-home photography office near Loveland. We’ll have wine and chocolates while we peruse through your photos in all their glory on our 4k TV.
